On a warm afternoon in Atlanta, Old White Rugby kicked off the Fall ’11 season with the drubbing of a strong, but unfortunately thin squad from Greenville. The friendly, divided into Three 35-minute periods, gave the boys from Atlanta an opportunity to get new faces onto the field, try players out at different positions, and knock the rust off after a month-long hiatus from the pitch. Greenville, with their big pack, never quit throughout the contest, but as fatigue and injuries began to set in, OWRFC was able to take control and not look back.

Old White now travels to Columbus on Saturday, October 1st, to take on the Cruise-A-Matics in what promises to be an excellent match for both sides.
